Getting Dialed In on Process
Recently I had an AIOP team member who was really down on herself. It came as a surprise to me because just the week before she was telling me how fired up she was about a recent podcast she listened to about motivation.
So I told her something that a top earner told me during my early days when I first started back in 2012, and it applies to pretty much anything in life: “Get down and dirty with the process and the results will appear.”
Setting Yourself Up to Achieve Those Results
So I asked her questions like: “What does it take to reach those results? If you want those results, how many people do you need to connect with?
We concluded that she didn’t reach out to enough people to even put herself in that position to achieve those results. What it really came down to was that she needed get more people to her sales video presentation.
This was the process.
Reaching Out to the Masses Will Give You Results
Being successful in network marketing is all about the numbers game. Get the masses to your presentation and a certain percentage will convert into sales. There has to be a certain process-based attitude to take so that their will be less expectation on results which translates into less frustration.
Instead of the goal being a certain number of sales at the end of the month, the goal should be about the number of people you reach out to and invite to your sales video or presentation. There is more control when you do that because it’s really not about sales, it’s about exposure. The results you want will appear when the cloud of dust settles after all the hard work you put into the process.
