It Starts with Just One Thing
Today I wanted to talk about change and the burning desire to make ourselves better. Too often, we think we need to change everything all at once. I say slow it down and start with one thing and build some momentum. Sooner or later, the process will take care of itself and you will have made drastic changes one after the other.

Replace One Habit
Do you sit on the couch and watch television? Who doesn’t? Trust me, I’ve got my favorite shows too.
Sometimes we think there is not enough time in the day. But if you really analyze it, you will find out that there is plenty of time.
Can you find 30 minutes in a day to start a new habit of, say, personal development training?
Of course you can, but only if you believe you can.
Our dreams shouldn’t wait for us any longer. We can do something about it and we can do something about it right now.
It doesn’t need to be drastic and extreme. It can be something as simple as reading a book for 20 or 30 minutes daily. Do that for seven days straight and you’ve got yourself roughly three hours of “getting better.”
So the tip here is to pick something that burns 30 minutes and replace it with something purposeful towards a goal of yours.
One Thing I Changed Back in 2012
So when I first arrived into the scene of internet/network marketing back in 2012, I gave up watching live sporting events on television.
Don’t get me wrong… I absolutely love sports, especially baseball and football. But sitting down for three hours watching a live game… Wow! That’s a lot of time.
Now did I give up sports all the way? No. That’s what the highlight shows were for!
This opened up a huge chunk of time for me on a daily basis. I didn’t need to sacrifice more than that, like family time and other hobbies I enjoyed like writing and playing guitar. Giving up watching sports was all I needed.
So what is one thing you can replace on a daily basis to make yourself better, to get you on your path?
